Rockin' Baby

Last night Hunter and I were on Skype with Grammy and as I watched the computer screen Grammy squeeled with excitement. As mom gasped and told me to turn around I saw my little man up on all fours! I just watched in amazement and Hunter looked up at me and gave a huge smile and then landed on his belly. It was so cute watching him figure everything out and continuing to get up on all fours the rest of the night. He even started rocking on his knees. Now that's all the little guy wants to do when he's on the floor. Zach and I predict that he will be crawiling within the week. I am SO not ready for a mobile baby. Time to baby proof the house. Oh boy.

Hunter loves wearing Zachs hat. We had just gotten back from our walk and we were striping off all of our jackets and hats and Zach started playing around, silly daddy. He, Hunter, has the most amazing smile. Seriously, can I eat him yet?

Mini Photo Session

Hunter was wearing his fun shirt that one of my old coworkers gave me (or him rather) and I couldn't help myself but get some black and white picts. It was only with our point and shoot camera, I really didn't want to get the big one out because I didn't know how he would do on the spur of the moment photo session momma wanted to do. He is such a little man sometimes! I could seriously eat him!

 

 

 

 

Highchair!

 
 


Hunter's new highchair! Thank you Auntie Jen! We have been waiting for this highchair in the mail for the last two months and thank heavens that it's here now. He loves it and it makes feeding time so much easier than using the Bumbo seat. Now I can see his cute little face before I shove food into it, he has never complained though. :)

Pineapple Goodness

After Hunter was done with his dinner I gave him a teething feeder that we have so I could actually eat my dinner while it was warm. I had some pineapple cut up on the table so I dropped it in, sealed it up and gave it to the munchkin. As soon as he figured it out he was LOVIN' that teether. It was too adorable not to photograph.

 

 

 

Re-arranging

Last week Sam came over to help me re-arrange upstairs. As you can see we ran into some difficulties with the couch. :) We both couldn't figure out how in the world Zach did this on his own when he moved it into our bedroom! We got it into the hallway and then stuck in Hunter's doorway. At that point we had to call Sam's husband Mike to come save us. Hunter was playing in his crib the entire time we were attempting out moving skills and then started to fuss so under the couch through the hole to Hunter's crib we go. It was like a fun house getting from one room to the next. Needless to say I won't be trying to move that thing again!

 

 

 

Big Boy's Sit In Highchairs...

We went to our usual spot for dinner last weekend with some friends. By usual I mean the only Mexican food restaurant in town, that we know of. Hunter and Corben had fun throwing their toys on the ground so we would have to pick them up. Oh the learning never ends. It was adorable to see H sitting on his own in a highchair! The only down fall to it is that he is so close to the table all he wants to do is eat it! Imagine that, he wants to eat something. Anywho, lots of fun and great pictures.

 

 

 

 

The Hawk

Hunter has been growing by leaps and bounds! His hair has gotten so much longer and SO much easier to put into a mohawk! :) Just a bit of baby lotion and that beautiful hair sticks up on end. I love it! Now just wait until he's older and we can SHAVE it into a mohawk!

 

 

 

6 Month Well Baby

Yesterday Hunter turned 6 months old! Happy half birthday son! :) Today we went to his 6 month well baby check up. We gained a couple ounces so we are now up to 17.10lbs which is the 43 percentile. Our length is 27 inches which is in the 58th percentile and his noggin' is in the 12th percentile. The doctor was glad to see that he is starting to gain weight because this means that my meds are working and/or the baby food "upage" (there I go again, making up my own words) is doing some good. The doc' also wants him to come back in a month to check his weight gain so fingers still crossed and prayers still shootin' up to the Big Guy. Hunter is doing great with everything else and is learning more and more everyday. This afternoon I noticed that we are now moving backwards. Next step FORWARD! Yikes! I'm not ready for him to crawl yet or even be mobile for that matter. Hopefully he'll give me a little more time so mommy can get used to everything again, it changes so fast! I'm trying to remember if there was anything else but for now this will just have to do! I'm pooped from the day.

H's New Laugh

Zach started playing around with Hunter yesterday and we discovered our sweet little man's new laugh! So cute, we couldn't stop making him giggle after that.
