I was wondering around Pinterest yesterday and stumbled upon this gem. It is too funny not to want everyone to read it. So, here ya go!

Other than that I apologize for the lack of posting. Kisses'N'Stitches has been keeping me pretty busy the last few weeks. Very grateful for that! I will get some pictures on here someday...:)

Advice

So I decided to write a post for my response to Kim and Elissa. :)

I definitely understand that a c-section is going through a type of labor. I would get so irritated with women, or men for that matter but it was mainly the ladies, that would talk about a c-section like it was a four letter word. Frankly I just wanted to slap 'em upside the head. I just want to give it my all to try and do this naturally. It was my goal for Hunter's birth and that wasn't able to happen. Then with Gwen I wanted to VBAC but every doctor, not to mention insurance, said no. We'll see what happens with Baby 3.

As far as finding out the gender this time around it's a toss up. As of now we aren't. I keep thinking of why I want to find out, then I think of that awesome feeling it was to have Zach tell me Gwen was a girl. Really I remember crying as soon as I heard her cry and then when he told me she was a girl I cried even more. HA! Those crazy hormones just get ya sometimes...;) So really I have mixed emotions about finding out. I want to know so I can prep and figure out the room arrangements. Then I don't want to find out because of the AMAZING feeling finding out right then is. Ahhhhhh!

So what would you guys do?

Surprise!!!

Angela Andrieux Photography! If you're in the San Diego area she is amazing!!! Check out her facebook page!

That's right! We are expecting our fifth addition in March! We were planning this little bundle, we just never in a million years expected it to happen the first month of "trying". It wasn't even the month that we were really trying for. It was a "well, the app is saying I'm good to go so if you wanna..." lol! probably TMI but funny still! So our little father's day gift showed itself right after my birthday!

We were a little more hush, hush about this one than the last two. I was having trouble getting into the doc' to confirm everything. Not to mention I really wanted a fun way to announce it. :)

Now I am in my second trimester and finally not sick. This baby is SO much different than Hunter and Gwen were. Those pregnancies were a breeeeeeeeze. I had no illness or downtime with either. Not so much with #3, or Smidge as he/she has been nicknamed by my parents. The first 6 weeks were nothing, shoot I didn't even know I was pregnant until 6 weeks. The next 6 were a different story. It was pretty intense for a little bit. I couldn't focus on anything except not being nauseous on top of trying not to get migraines. Thankfully I never threw up. I'm not a thrower-upper. I do wish a few times I could have just done it to get it over with though. I finally have all my energy back and am able to focus on my yarn and needle! (that was the worst)

Now begins my journey of finding a doctor that is "crazy enough" to do a v2bac. A medical professional actually told me that. Maaaaaaaaaarvelous. So after my trek of changing my insurance to not have to go to Balboa (military hospital)I know get to find someone who is willing to let me try and push this kiddo out. I told Zach yesterday that I'm ready to do all of the labor at home and just go when he sees a head start to show! For the record he just about passed out. hahaha! I was determined in the beginning to do a v2bac water birth. I've read amazing things about the positive things for vbacs and the water taking the stress off of the incision. Well I've given up on that and I just want to be able to push this baby out on my own. The only way I can do the whole thing in water is if I do it at home and I'm not comfortable with that. Not only would I be worrying about the possibility of rupture but I wouldn't be able to leave the scene of the crime! hahaha No one wants to clean up after that...ewwww.

Ultimately it will all be determined by what the safest is for the baby and myself. I'm just praying that it will go in the direction of v2bac. Prayers please!!!! It's my dream to be able to do this. I was extremely hormonal the day we went to the dr to finally hear this little life and when the dr. told me absolutely no chance at a vbac I lost it. So now I try and make a liar out of her! Booyah! ...not to mention she was extremely irritating, she was a middle aged white lady that wouldn't open her eyes all the way and made mouth noises after everything she said, and you all know how much I hate mouth noises. I just need to find someone else period. Thankful for good insurance right now!

Ok, my rant is done. Yay for baby #3!

Just another week

Well we had a very adventure filled weekend here at the Stachurski house. My mom was able to come down on Friday which made it that much better! We all hit the zoo up on Saturday and the kids had a BLAST! All of the pictures are on my phone so they'll be up in a bit.

It has been SO hot here the last few weeks that we decided to have a little water fun in the backyard. We filled up the spa with some lukewarm water and all splashed and played. The kids had such a good time we couldn't get them out of the water, naturally. Obviously the next steph was to fill their kiddo pool and use the slide/playhouse they have with the hose. They loved the newly made waterslide. haha! I had to put an old crib mattress at the bottom of the slide as a landing because those little behinds were hauling! hahaha!! It was fantastic.

We also got to go and play at the neighbors house and enjoy their AC. :) Now Hunter is obsessed with their trampoline and, of course, all of their toys. So happy there are younger kids on this block. It is so much fun to watch them all play together.

This week we have a ton going on again. Today is our only down day and we still have a playdate later this morning (to which I should probably shower for...). Carpet cleaning is tomorrow and doctors appt's fill Thursday. We are also hoping for Ventura this weekend. Lots of exciting things going on here! hah! I need to get on the phone with a plumber and an AC guy. Oh the joys of being a homeowner...:)

Update and Vent session

For some unknown reason to me I can't get the spacing right on here. I really did not write this as one big blob. If you know a trick please help! Thanks! Whelp, I did it again. I really do have the best of intentions when I say I want to blog more...here's to another shot at it! If I go longer than three days I'm hoping that one of you beautiful people will call/text/fb stalk me and hound me for a post. :) Ok, so now that that is out of the way! HI! I just skimmed over my last post and yes, July was an insane month for us! Just reading it I'm tired! ha! August held just as much excitment as July. We had a Disneyland trip, a trip to Visalia to visit some friends, camping with Zach's sister and her clan as well as the many hours of driving it all entaled. We took a few detours on our road trips to go fun places and spend some time with the kids outside of the car, for their sanity and ours. It was pure joy! I love road trips and camping and I love the people I was with so it made it even more incredible. At the end of my previous post I had asked what you would do if you were in that crazy little situation I was in with a friend. Well I took the advice and contacted her. Not to my surprise she told me that she was waiting for me to spend my birthday without her so I would be punished. Tisk, tisk. I figured that is what she was thinking. As she and I got to talking I tried to explain that our friendship needed a different dynamic, didn't go over so well. I couldn't beleive that she had started to verbally attack me and my family. I was actually pretty shocked about that. I wish I could say that I thought she was a bigger person than that but I know better. To sum things up we are no longer friends. On a funny note, I was browesing facebook one day and saw her homecoming pictures with her husband (Navy family) and thought that I would message her saying that they were beautiful pictures and that I was happy that they were back together again. I laughed when she blocked me from facebook! Seriously, she blocked me from viewing anything about her on facebook because I complimented her! hahahahahaha! Apparently you can't talk to crazy. I will continue to wish her the best and pray for her when I think of her. I do think sometimes of what she is spreading to others about me. Not really people I don't know because lets face it, I don't really care what they think. I'm talking about mutual friends we had. I know that I've lost another friend just because of the filth that was told to her. If they can't tell lies from truth about me then they didn't really know me in the first place. I know I am better off without her. It was a relationship full of constant put downs. I've had people come up to me, that have seen her interactions with me, and ask me why I put up with it? How I can brush off something so mean. Pretty sad I let it go on this long. Oh well! I don't have to worry about her put downs and mean comments anymore, not to mention her screaming child! AH! (A little mean but TOTALLY true. Anyone can tell ya that.) So anywho, this was really just so I could vent. That's why I love blogging! Next post will be pictures from our trips...hopefully. :)

The Crazy Life

Things are about to get SUPER busy here at the Stachurski house. This weekend is definitely a grand kick off for the month of July. We have people coming down this weekend and my momma is coming down this weekend for the holiday week! SUPER excited about that. :) It's my bro's birthday on Monday, he'll be an old man...32! hahaha! Then we were going to go up to Ventura but Zach had something come up at work and now we can't. So VTA you'll have to wait until the following weekend. Then my bday and Krista is coming! Woo hoo! Super excited! The second half of the month is just as crazy. Somewhere in all of the madness Zach intends to build a pergola. I can't wait for that! Our house gets so hot from the sun beating off the concrete in the backyard. So far it hasn't gotten TOO bad in the house, although we did learn some great tricks last year. Which brings me to my next tid bit, Sunday we will have officially be homeowners for a year! Yay for being in debt! ha! We still have things to do on the house but it is in MUCH better shape than it was when we bought it. Those people really lived like pigs. Ugh! The yards have been neglected though. I just had the gardener pull all of the "flowers" in our front planter so now it's a blank canvas! I have a few ideas for it but am still looking for any thoughts! I'll have to take a picture and post it for opinions. :) Our little garden in the back is still alive too! Now that is huge for us (and by us I mean me). Our basil is thriving and waiting to be eaten, the tomatoes havent flowered yet but that's normal along with our four different peppers. I am trying to find a zucchini plant already started and maybe some eggplant. Other than the house and our busy schedule I've been really contimplating everything that had been happening before. I don't know if I had post this already so please excuse the repeat if I have. I love all of my friends dearly. I would do anything for them. That being said, I'm not sure exactly if this other person feels the same way for me. Which, lets face it, stings a little. I'm not going to let that bring me down though. I would like to think that I can just let this go and move forward. I keep thinking about her though. So everytime I think of her I pray for her. I really would like to be the bigger person. So that being said, do I contact her and "break the silence"? Even though this is one of the things I had talked to her about? That I really hate having to be the one to contact her all the time, do I do it? I told her that when she was ready to call me. Part of me wants to ask her "is this it? This is how you want to do this? End the friendship we had?" Zach told me last night that I should contact her and "be the bigger person" in his words. That I would be doing a disservice to myself and my walk if I continued to play this little charade. I'm confused. What would you do?

Strike a Pose

I thought a few pictures of the my little wierdos was needed to lighten the mood. :) My husband drives me crazy sometimes, but he sure does help me make a cute kid. ha! I love him with every ounce of me and he knows it. These little people are my world. They love to have gun fights with Daddy all over the house and swoopsnap all of his stuff. H's new "thing" is making a funny face everytime the camera comes out. I just loooooove that...Gwen, well Gwenny is a diva.

Life

Thank you for all of the feedback on my last post. I couldn't agree more that some people are just toxic and some are put into our lives to refine us. I honestly couldn't have said it better myself! Thanks guys! Fortunately this particular situation is here to refine me. Yes, I said fortunately. I think over the years of putting up with all kinds of different...stresses in my life I have gotten a little hard. I need to crack this shell I have made and open back up to being a more giving and all around loving person. Another case I am now going through (it's been a busy month for me) I believe is a toxic relationship which is really hard for me to say because I love this person very much. I'll go more into that in a moment though. I had said that I felt like I was drowning in a puddle and it really hasn't gotten a whole lot better. It's just been one thing after the other here I swear. As most of you know Zach has an auto immune dificeincy. Well after he had his 6 mile swim it flared up with all its might. I have never seen him in such pain. Looking into his eyes was the worst. He is such a strong person and never really shows pain, that just made this that much harder. The waterfall effect started here. With Zach being sick I took care of the house and kids alone, no big deal. I mean that is what the norm is when he's gone anyway. It wasn't just taking care of the kids though. It was adding a sick husband on and the emotional stress of watching him deteriorate was incredibly hard. I kept praying and asking for strength, that I didn't show him how much it was hurting me because quite frankly why should he have to deal with that too? Well Hunter caught on that mommy was a little overloaded and he decided to run with it. The listening became few and far between and the fits became regular. It was uber tiring. He is so tired of me, I mean, I'm the only person he gets durning the day and he is SO ready for preschool it's not even funny. He asks to go to daycare or church so he can play with the teachers and other kiddos. We just found a mommy group here through the church and I'm stoked to get into it. So back to the sick thing, with Zach being out of commission and the kids not understanding it made it that much more difficult to keep them off him or not cry for him while he was upstairs resting. On top of all of this trying to keep my own sanity was difficult. I was trying to talk to a friend about it, the toxic relationship I am now realizing, and all I got from our conversations was all about them and their world. Not only was it about them but it was short answers when I would initiate something AND negative. I am realizing that sarcasm is nothing I want to have so prominent in my life, that's what they were chalking it up to (oh and menstrating). As soon as I said that I didn't want to be a doormat anymore or that I was done with the negativity I was attacked. I get being defensive, it's natural. I just don't deal with that kind of friendship well. I lost a very dear friend because of this before. I really didn't want that to happen again. Especially because of how close this person and I are. Ugh, this just makes me so sad. Sad and a little angry. We'll see how the next week or so goes. I told them I would give them time and let them make the next move. Who knows what their growth will be, if any. (yeah, I know...that was a jab. I'm human! what can I say?) It is so hard to keep everything straight in my head for this post while little monkeys destroy the house. If I repeat myself I'm sorry. No joke it has taken me over an hour to write this. I suppose I can make a sequel tomorrow. I mean, this is pretty long. To sum it up I'm trying to handle a lot right now and it's difficult. Prayer has been huge and trying to listen and apply what I'm hearing is even more difficult.

Look at me!!

Twice in one day! OOOOhhhhh snap. Ok, now that that is out of my system! Whew! Tonight I was able to head out after I put the kids to bed and have some "me time". It was fantastic! I hit up Target and Michaels, my two favorite places. I, of course, took my dear sweet time in both places and even though I was only gone for not even two hours I feel so rejuvinated! I feel like I can clean the house top to bottom right now. I mean, I'm not but I feel like I could...Anywho. As I'm sitting on my off ramp I had that sick feeling like I forgot the kids at the store. When I reassured myself that I had indeed left them sleeping in their beds I recalled the first time I had ever left Hunter. He was only about two weeks/ish old, maybe a month, and I needed something from the store. Zach told me just to go, that it would be a good little outing for me. I was reluctant but went anyway. I remember getting into the car and pulling out of our neighborhood and thinking "Where is the carseat?!!" and "Oh my gosh I forgot him in the house!" Silly, silly girl but I couldn't help it. I know it had a lot to do with hormones then and I quickly got over it. I just couldn't help thinking that I had fallin asleep at my wheel. How crazy are we? I mean, thanks hormones you really know how to party. That was random thought number one. Random thought number two is really a question for all of you. How do you deal with someone or people that you just can't take a whole bunch of? I have been struggling with a few people for the last 6 months. I like to think that I have this amazing ability to take on all different kinds of personalities. Most cases I do, I can rock with the best of them and lounge with the rest. :) I think this is why everyone I know comes to me for advice. I can normally sift through peoples crazy. This time I think it has just hit way too close to home for comfort. That and the devil is REALLY trying to get in the way of a lot of aspects of my life. Se la vie right? So back to my question, how do you look past it or get over it if it's in your own backyard? I really can't stress enough how this (to the best of my knowledge possible) is the first time I've really not been able to just look past everything. I know that this is a lesson for my own personal growth but geeeeeewiz God, why do I have to go through this now? (*smacks self on back of head*) Thank you by the way for the comments on the puddle post. Life is a doozy sometimes but it's all how we react to our test that show us how strong we are. I am going to do my very best to utilize this blog to its utmost. I don't want a sugar coated blog, I want it to be all of the crazy inside my head pouring out. I work through my problems best if I say them so why not write them? I get WAY more feedback this way than just talking with myself. Thank you ladies for listening to my...uniqueness...:)

Yowza

Well two weeks later isn't exactly what I had planned...that's life! Trying to sort through all that is in my head and going on around me has been difficult at times. I was telling Zach last night that I feel like I'm drowning in a puddle, that I just can't get my face free of the water. I'm sure I'm overreacting. I can't seem to keep my house beautiful (like I should ever expect that! ha!!!), laundry is a constant battle and dishes...oh dishes...OH! and the dirty P word, POTTY TRAINING. Uggggggggggh. I'm so done with potty training. Shoot, I didn't even potty train Missy. I have her to Zach for the week while I went to be a counselor at a camp! hahahaha! Well potty training Hunter has been a fierce battle of wits. He "likes having my diaper changed." Which makes things extremely difficult for him actually telling me when he has to go. Sigh. On a more positive note we have been home owners for almost a year now! That's exciting stuff!! Our home has come SO far from when we first got the keys. Oh man this house was in bad shape. There have been many trials along the way, i.e. our air conditioning is completely broken and summers are not exactly cool here. Inside our home at any given time during the summer or start of summer it is 90-100 degrees. That's WITH ceiling fans! We used to have an awning in the backyard but it had to be torn down due to termites. I think that little awning would have a HUGE roll in keeping our house cool. The sun hits our back patio and pours heat into the downstairs. Enough about my little rant on heat. (It's nothing we can't deal with. We play outside in the water when we have shade in the back. Back on the happy home decorating front. :) It's been fun trying different things out for the house and Pinterest! Oh Pinterest. It's been a lot of fun looking up different ideas for the house. Now to implament. Welp, children are going crazy. Can't ignore them any longer. Ciao!

My old friend

Well I have successfully been a lazy blogger. I wish I could say that it was from lack of free time and pawn it off on something other than myself but it's not. So here I am again. I am really going to try and post at least three times a week. I think that's a pretty realistic goal right? We'll see. If I start to slack you guys better jump on my behind! I don't even know where to start with catching everyone up on our lives. Let's see...in a nutshell Zach left on deployment for 6 months, we drove back and forth from Ventura a few times, Gwen and I went to Washington to visit Blair while Hunter got to play with Grammy and Grandpa, holidays came and went, I went to Chicago and left the kids for the first time ever (together that is), Gwen turned one, we had some visitors for a while, Zach came home, Hunter turned 3, I went to Kansas to help Blair with L's bday party and to get her stuff together to move and now we are getting ready for Zach's bday weekend craziness. Little things happened here and there in all that mix, you know, like Gwen walking... just the small stuff. HA! Oh and our good friends got married! That was fun. Currently we are all knocked down with a funky cold. I've never had one last this long and feel this way. There's always a first for everything. The kids are doing a lot better though. I think Gwen's now is just teething. Throughout this whole cold experience our fridge broke for the second time. Oh for joy. I'm so tired of things breaking. First it was my laptop and that took forever to fix. Well that's about it for this post. I have a lot more in my head but I don't want the first post to be anymore all over the board than it already is. :)
