How fast our little Gwenny grows! These were taken two months apart. Our babies sure do love their food!

Potty Training...

Well the time is here, potty training! Hunter has been only partially interested in it. I really don't want to push it so he doesn't decide he doesn't want to do it all together. He is doing a great job so far. I just wish that he would tell me before he poops so we can do THAT in the potty. I am switching to cloth diapers soon so I thing that will be a big help in the PT'ing. I would really love to have him potty trained by the end of the year though. I snapped these pictures a couple weeks ago (finally getting all the pictures from my phone onto the computer...thank you Krista!!) and thought they were hilarious so of course I must share.

Promises, Promises

Well, I am trying to blog more. I know I have been majorly slacking in the posting department. I think I have devised a schedule so I can get at least three posts a week in. We'll see if it works! :) I know for a fact once we get into the house and settled the posts will be regular again. Right now is just a little crazy with the two kiddos, buying a home, bouncing back and forth from San Diego and Ventura, birthdays, weddings...LIFE! I have also been up to my crafting again...oh. my. word. it feels GREAT to make something with my own two hands again! Like a sigh of relief! I will get pictures up of everything that has been accomplished (only a couple things so far) in the last month. Fun baby things and a wonderful lap blanket for my grandma's birthday (currently under construction :) ).

Well, I hear a baby waking up. That's my que. I'll have more up more often! Keep me accountable people!

Gwennyth

Pictures! A good friend's amazing girlfriend took these great pictures of Gwen two weeks ago. I can't wait to get the rest of them! I did promise pictures and how can you get any cuter than these? Yep...you can't! ha!

Head Over Heals Photography is incredible! If you have any friends in the Visalia area you should definitely point them in her direction.

Oh my word...last night was the best night EVER! Gwennyth laughed for the very first time!!! My heart was on overload! I caught it of video too so I'll post that soon. I am not doing it now only because if I load only one video on the computer then the rest will suffer and I just don't have the time right now to upload and organize all of the photos and videos right now. I can say that I will take some time to do them before this weekend. I have a few projects going on right now that need to be finished by Saturday so those are taking the majority of my "free" time. HA! That's a laugh.

We sent off our loan application yesterday and everything is falling into place with our soon to be new home! AHH! I can't tell you how excited I am! Well, how excited WE are! Finally to have our things again, our bed! Oh how wonderful it will be to have our bed again. WOO HOO! I finally get to start shopping for Gwen's room and our room! Super stoked I get a bedroom set now! It's like Christmas, birthday's and any other holiday all wrapped up into one! My mom and I went to Home Goods yesterday...AMAZING. I need to find one in SD. Next I'll hit up a TJ Maxx!! Marshall's too...so much planning! I am on cloud 9. Now if I could just have a bigger budget. Eh, what are you gonna do?

Well, I must start the day now. I get to talk to a jeweler today about a new wedding ring.

Have a mentioned lately how blessed I am feeling?! We have such an amazing God. Great family, amazing friends...Ok, done now.

Quick Update

I am a total blog slacker! I have SO MANY pictures it's insane. I have no idea where to start so be patient with me as I little by little get them up.

The kiddos are amazing. Hunter surprises me everyday with something new that he's learned. His vocabulary and ability to make a complete sentence every time he speaks baffles me. That little man is a genius! Gwennyth is incredible. I can't even express how much love I have for these two little ones. She is talking up a storm, rolling over from belly to back, eating like crazy (shocker for my kid right?!?! ha!), working on sitting up by herself (I'm not ready for this), grabbing toys and pulling them to her mouth and so much more!

As you all know we have been looking for a house and about a month or so ago we put an offer in on a short sale home. We heard back a week and a half ago that the sale was verbally approved! We were so excited! Well we now have our written approval and are officially in the escrow process! Yay!! We have a close of escrow date set for 6/28 so by July we will be in our new home if everything goes smoothly. Please pray! The apartment we are in now is not the greatest of places. The people above us are inconsiderate and rude. It's completely stressing me out and with that my milk supply is hurting. Love the ripple effect.

That's all for now! :)

Well I was going to upload a hilarious video of Hunter walking around the house saying "fist pumpin rockin roll!" he is such a funny kid!!

Also we are getting ready to head back up to Ventura tonight. Not looking forward to the drive but love seeing family.

Short and sweet post right now. Still no computer Internet so I'm doing all of this from my iPhone. Not easy by the way.

Oh, and one more thing...

We don't have wifi yet in San Diego so that is the main reason for the lack of posts. That's my excuse anyway.

We are in town for Easter and Josh's birthday and I think we'll pretty much be in Ventura for the next couple of weekends as well. We still have to fix Zach's truck and get the rest of our stuff from Mom and Dad's house.

San Diego, Home buying and Kiddos

Well we have finally moved! We are now in San Diego set up in an apartment Zach got for us. It's fully furnished so we don't have to move our things twice, thank heavens. We have an extension in on our household goods for storage so hopefully they will accept that and we have 90 more days to try and by a house.
Speaking of which we have two offers in right now on two wonderful homes. We had found a house and put an offer in on it the day before H's birthday but unfortunately didn't "win" it. There were nine other offers in on that house! Crazy! THEN we found another great house and once again put an offer in on it and for a few reasons backed out of it. There were multiple offers on it and we believe that we weren't the strongest. It would have been a great house but needed just a bit more than we could do or handle with kids. I'm glad we opted to back out of that deal because we found four incredible houses that were WAY more affordable than the last home. We picked our first, second and third choices and decided to move forward. After getting a verbal acceptance before we had our offers written up we decided to just go ahead for two of the homes. (We were going to put three offers in because of our bad luck before. Bidding wars are just no fun when you don't have the funds for it!) We have official acceptance now on one home, which was our second choice and are now waiting for our first choices acceptance. I should mention that both of these houses are short sales and we still have to wait for the bank to say yes to our number offer. Both of the homes are in Chula Vista, which I was really reluctant to look around there just because of what I had heard from a few people. Well it turns out that there is a very nice area of Chula! We are very comfortable with this spot, it feels just like Westlake for all of you fellow Ventura County peeps. So now we wait. We wait for the bank to say "sure guys! This number sounds fine! Lets go ahead with the process." Which can take a while. Short sales are unfortunate and can take forever but are EVERYWHERE. We are very excited about these homes though. So please pray for us! I really, really, really want our first choice and it looks pretty promising so pray, pray, pray please!
Other than the home buying we are very much the same. Hunter runs around like he's a boss and Gwen is growing like a weed! She talks and smiles at you (and herself in the mirror) and bats at her toys. She's a chunky little monkey just like our Hunter was...ok is. Hunter is getting his two year molars in and is being a bit of a challenge but that's to be expected. He talks up a STORM now. Sentences and all. Which brings me to my next thought, you really have to watch what you say in front of him. We have to be very careful as to who we let him around too. It's pretty crazy how quick this kid is! OH! We have also been potty training. Not consistently but still he was/is doing a great job! He is such a great big brother and helper to us. He really is an all around amazing child. I mean, we like him!
Little Gwen and Hunter are such blessings. We couldn't be more thankful for them! Now to get them into our first home! How exciting!

Here we go again!

Well, time has done it again. Our time in Ventura has flown by!! Zach graduated his class today, with honors might I add!! So proud of my amazing hubby. I don't know if you know this, but he's kind of a big deal. Zach is now packing his bags and heading down to San Diego to get everything set up for us. Really he's going down there first so he can make sure that we in fact are going there next. We just decided the other day that we were all going to go down there this weekend (tonight), Grammy included, so we can check out a few more houses. We actually found a couple that are worth getting excited about. Prayers continued please!! We are so close to being able to put an offer in on a house. I'm really hoping we can find out if we indeed are going to be in SD by the middle/end of this week so I can start the offer on a house! Ahhh! Yay!

On another note, I stepped on the scale with Gwennyth this morning...chunky butt is 13 pounds! She is definitely on the Hunter fast track! I know I've been lacking in pictures lately. I had lost my camera for a little while and then I realized that I only take pictures with my phone. I have been working on my problem! I now need to break my bad habit of leaving the pictures on the camera! Hey, no one's perfect! :)

Gwen is doing a great job with everything. I am so in love with our little baby girl! I know Zach is too. Oh and Hunter, he loves his baby sister so much! It really is adorable to see him try and help her. I love it.

(well that's all I have time for today! It's one fire after the next over here. I'm still learning my way with two kiddos.)
